WHAT IS A ZINE?
A fanzine is a project aimed at producing a physical or digital book containing artwork and/or fanfiction centered around the chosen theme, whether that be a ship, a single character, or a genre. Many zines these days also include merch of some kind. They can be for-profit, charity, or free. For the purposes of our project, we will be creating a free digital zine featuring artwork, fanfiction, cosplay, and digital merch.

WHAT IS THE ZINE'S THEME?
A celebration of Nagi Seishirou, Mikage Reo, and all of the various multitude of ways their friendship/relationship takes shape. Are they just good friends? Lovers? Secretly enemies? It’s all up to you! Tell us a story with your pieces. Whether it’s canonverse or AUs, every rendition of NagiReoNagi is welcome here!

IS THIS A FIXED DYNAMIC ZINE?
It isn’t! Whichever way you prefer the dynamic is fine. Every piece will be treated equally with love.

DOES THIS ZINE HAVE AN AGE LIMIT FOR CONTRIBUTORS?
All contributors must be 18+ at the time of applying in order to participate in our zine due to the presence of NSFW content.

DO I NEED ZINE EXPERIENCE TO APPLY?
Not at all! We do ask that you have strong communication and group project skills. This zine could heavily rely on collaboration work, and you will need to be able to regularly communicate with your team members to make sure you’re all on the same page and the final pieces are cohesive.

HOW MANY CONTRIBUTORS ARE YOU ACCEPTING?
This will be an open invitation zine! Meaning that all who apply will be accepted.

CAN I APPLY FOR MORE THAN ONE ROLE?
You’re more than welcome to apply for as many roles as you’d like, however we can only guarantee that you will be approved for one role.

Application guidelines

WRITING APPLICANTS
⇒ Two (2) - three (3) samples
⇒ Total combined word count minimum 1k and maximum 7.5k between all samples
⇒ English Only
⇒ Blue Lock samples are encouraged but not required
⇒ At least one (1) sample must be SFW
⇒ At least one (1) sample must be a completed standalone work with a minimum word count of 1k and max word count of 5k
⇒ Excerpts from longer works are welcome (either provide a 3-5 sentence explanation of context or link to the full work for comprehension needs)
⇒ If interested in creating for NSFW/⇒ Hard Kink add on - At least one (1) sample needs to be centered around NSFW/Hard Kink tropes listed in the Info tab
⇒ Each piece must be tagged appropriately for the content to be found in the sample piece.

PAGE/COMIC/SPOT ARTIST APPLICANTS
⇒ One (1) - three (3) pieces
⇒ Submit pieces you are most proud of and showcase your style best
⇒ Blue Lock pieces are encouraged, but not required
⇒ At least one (1) piece needs to have a completed background with full color and shading
⇒ At least one (1) piece needs to SFW
⇒ If applying for the NSFW/Hard Kink add on - At least one (1) piece needs to be centered around NSFW/Hard Kink tropes listed on our carrd
⇒ If applying as a comic artist - Comic pieces are encouraged
⇒ If applying as a spot artist - Spot art pieces are encouraged (examples of spot art—chibi versions, background-less, stand-alones, etc.)

Contributor Expectations

GENERAL EXPECTATIONS
Contributors are required to join the discord server for the project and participate in every check in. It’s the responsibility of each contributor to communicate with the mod team in the event that they need an extension or need to drop from the project. Failure to meet check in deadlines without proper communication of their needs will result in being removed from the project.

WRITER REQUIREMENTS
⇒ 1 written work with minimum WC of 1k and max of 5k
⇒ Standalone: must read as standalone (absolutely no requirement for readers to backread other non-zine works) but connection to other writers' works is allowed

PAGE/COMIC ARTIST REQUIREMENTS
⇒ 1 piece per artist
⇒ EITHER 1 page illustration or 1 comic between one (1) - four (4) pages
⇒ Page size: 5 in X 8 in
⇒ Spread size: 10 in X 8 in
⇒ Full color with basic background OR B&W with basic background
300 dpi
⇒ No OCs / self insert characters

SPOT ARTIST REQUIREMENTS
⇒ 2-4 small spot art depending on fic size, 1-2 large spot art depending on size of fic, or combination of large and small spot art depending on fic size
⇒ Small Spot Art Size: 2 in X 2 in (5cm X 5cm)
⇒ Large Spot Art Size: 5 in X 4 in (12.7cm X 10cm)
⇒ 300 dpi
⇒ Full color OR B&W
transparent background required for smaller spot art, optional for large spot art

MERCH ARTIST REQUIREMENTS
⇒ 1-2 merch designs per artist based upon the requirements for the chosen digital merch option chosen
⇒ List of options will be provided to choose from

COSPLAYER REQUIREMENTS
⇒ three (3) to (four) 4 pictures in portrait or landscape style with different posting in your style of choice
⇒ Portait size: 5 in X 8 in
⇒ Landscape size: 10 in X 8 in
⇒ No OCs / self insert characters

GENERAL CREATOR REQUIREMENTS
